Beautifully designed village square in the middle of the village center. There are several benches to sit on and a self-service hut, the "village oasis", with seating inside and outside. The outdoor area with table and benches is covered by an awning. In the "village oasis" you can get chilled drinks and snacks from the vending machine 24 hours a day.

Until the end of the 1950s, the village center consisted of the school, the Antonius Church and, to the left and right of it, 2 farms with a small part-time restaurant, a few residential houses and small craft businesses. There was also a bakery with a small grocery store and another restaurant, whose owner also ran a small grocery store.
