Hiking
At the Kittelsheim mill, remnants of the railway track and a tipper wagon from the former munitions railway, now erected as a monument, can be found. The railway was built by the National Socialists between 1940 and 1945. It ran from Hochstadt station to the Monika munitions depot in the Knittelsheim Forest. From there, tracks led to the Westwall fortifications on the French border.
