If you're not staying at Firefighters Memorial Campground across the street, people often park at the side of the road to access this trail that, despite its name, leads to a nice overlook of Lake Flaming Gorge.

Along the way, watch for wildlife and for wildflowers in season.

This trail is also popular for cross-country skiing.
