The Uinta Highline Trail starts here if you want to walk it from east to west. The long distance trail is 100 miles long and – because of its remoteness and challenging conditions – not for you if you have never been hiking or camping in the wilderness. It spans the Ashley National Forest and the Uinta Wilderness, largely following the ridgeline. The ideal season for the trail is from June to October at the most.
