        According to the information sign, the actual "end of the world" is here. Coming from Alhausen, the path at the Nister ends here, the steeply rising rocks on the right and it is only possible to continue via the "Steininsel".

        When the water is not high, the Nister can be crossed over large stones - works -usually- quite well, but sometimes you have to make a small jump. But since the water is not deep, there is no greater danger if you "miss" a stone ;-).
