Hiking

The Pleitersheim church, formerly known as St. Peter, is a pre-Reformation building. Part of the simultaneous church, the rectangular hall extension without a choir, is late Gothic. The foundation stone for this was laid in 1495 and the church was consecrated in 1496. Also worth mentioning are the Gothic wall paintings in the chancel, which date from the time of construction and were uncovered in 1950/51. Since 1978, the former simultaneous church has been the sole property of the Protestant parish.
