The Ru Courtaud is one of the oldest in the Aosta Valley, in fact it was completed in 1433. It represents a wonderful work of hydraulic engineering. From this point it is possible to travel along it without difficulty in a southerly direction, that is, towards the middle valley. In a northerly direction, that is, towards the mountain, the path that runs alongside the Ru is not passable due to large landslides.
