Anyone can photograph and feed the monkeys as they please. The locals' business consists of selling monkey food to tourists, attracting the monkeys, and helping tourists take beautiful photos. The people are very friendly and let the monkeys climb onto tourists' shoulders. It's a wonderful experience and highly recommended.

Children also offer food for sale. They even offer more food for a lower price because they can't compete with the adult sellers who stand in front of the monkeys and reserve the photo spots for themselves.

You can buy food from the children, attract monkeys yourself, and take photos.

It's up to each individual to decide whether they believe that children shouldn't work and therefore shouldn't buy anything from them, or whether they prefer to buy food from the children and support them.
