After climbing the steep path to the first plateau behind the Hut, you then need to head straight up as the crow flies towards the summit. Follow the obvious ridge which eventually changes from rocky outcrops in grassy, tussock hillside to sustained rock.

Chose the easiest route and keep an eye out for the small rock cairns which show the best options.

In early or late season there could be snow, make sure you have the right kit for snow as it is a steep climb up.
