This stretch of trail doesn't seem to be on the official trail maps, but it's well-used as a part of the Curry Ridge hike, completing a nice hike at the eastern end of the official trail.

The views alternate between peeks at the nearby lake and expansive views across the Chulitna River Valley. If the weather is clear enough, you may see Denali looming on the other side of the valley.
