The Cafe Maria is open from 11am to 6pm. Hot meals are available from 11.30am to 2pm and from 6pm to 8pm. Wednesday and Thursday are closed.

Forggenseestraße, which runs east of Rieden for about 1.5 km along the lake, offers several opportunities to cycle directly to the lake shore. From this position you have a clear view of the Catholic Church of St. Maria and Florian in the Waltenhofen district of Schwangau and of the Neuschwanstein Castle beyond.

Great coffee with a unique location right on Forgensee and an impressive view

Great coffee right on the waterfront. Bike and footpath are together here, which makes it pretty narrow.
