Il Moro di Venezia, a futuristic vessel built by Raul Gardini for Montedison, triumphs on May 11, 1991, at the Vuitton Cup in San Diego Bay; owned by the Port Authority of Ravenna after 8 years stationed in the parking lot, in March 2021 it was placed on the famous pedestals at the head of the Candiano: subject to the weather and salt corrosion, it was recently cleaned and repainted, thus returning to its original brilliant red color; on 5/30/26, the first stage of the Giro d'Italia femminile will conclude right here.
