This facade niche chapel in honour of Our Lady of Halle is located in the Flemish Brabant municipality of Halle. It is incorporated into the enclosure wall of the monastery of the Holy Sacrament of the Sacramental Sisters, located on the Astridlaan.[7]
The chapel was built as a thank you after the Second World War in 1946. Our Lady of Halle had protected the Sacramental Sisters from danger. The sisters had offered shelter to Jewish families, among others. During the occupation, the sisters promised to build a chapel if they were spared from persecution or the danger of war.
