You can pitch your tent just a few meters from Blitzen River or take a break in the shade of the juniper trees. The terrain is nice and flat and offers you plenty of space to choose from. Fish Creek is just around the corner and this is also where the trail ends.

If you are hiking the Oregon Desert Trail, you will have to find a safe spot to ford Fish Creek which can be raging in spring.
