Jerusalem Street is not only an architectural beauty but also has a good story behind it. It recalls that respected and noble families lived there; the best architectural styles of the city of Arequipa were tested here. Also striking is the blue-painted house of the Romañana family, where the former president of Peru Eduardo López de Romaña lived.
