Monument to the dead made by Maurice Ringot, sculptor active in Bergues, between 15 January 1922, date of award of the contract between the mayor and the sculptor, and 10 June 1923, date of the inauguration. The monument was damaged during the fighting of 1940 and restored after 1945, as indicated in the text of one of the inscriptions.
