Hiking

The church of San Lorenzo is, together with the castle, one of the oldest places in Castagneto Carducci. Its origins probably date back to before the year 1000, but actual historical documentation as a parish church only dates back to 1212. The church was completely rebuilt in 1926 at the behest of Count Walfredo Della Gherardesca.
