Hall (Pit) 1, with its reconstruction of the army, is completely overcrowded; 18 million visitors a year are demanding. Hall (Pit) 3 offers a glimpse of the actual finds and gives an idea of the reconstruction effort.
A visit during the summer holidays is not a good idea. It's better to visit before or after due to the large number of visitors.

An impressive experience. The walk from the parking lot wasn't far. Lighters and matches had to be handed over at the first security checkpoint. We arrived around 12:00 PM, so the crowds weren't too crowded.
