Old farm where apartments and offices are now housed. According to an old legend, it is said to be haunted here. When the moon is full, horses are said to be heard and a ghost rider comes riding out of the trees. On particularly bright nights, it's said that a headless man walks around the yard.

The Rocholz estate is a former aristocratic residence of the Berchem family in Gevelsberg, surrounded by the forces.
The estate Rocholz was poorly preserved and still used until it was acquired in 2006 by a real estate investor. The buildings were divided into several residential units.

In addition to a manor house from 1696, there are also numerous farm and stable buildings on the area. In 1740 the estate passed to the von Maltitz family. In 1788 it was bought by the Wuppermann family. This was followed by various owners. During the Nazi dictatorship there was an inhumanly run forced labor camp at Gut Rocholz for various Gevelsberg companies (source Wikipedia).
