De Watermeule is a monumental former watermill in the village of Hout-Blerick, in the Dutch municipality of Venlo. The mill was built in 1700, probably even earlier.Originally this was a grain and oil mill, located in another part of the village. The mill was later moved to the mouth of the Springbeek on the Maas. The stream is also called the Blerickse Molenbeek. In the mid-nineteenth century the mill had two overshot wheels; the first wheel was used for the grist mill and the second wheel for the oil mill. The mill fell out of use in 1939. In 1976, a fire raged in the mill, destroying the mill wheel. The former mill is currently an occupied owner-occupied house
