The "Basilica of the Patronage of Our Lady" is one of the oldest churches on Gozo. It was first mentioned in 1530, but has undergone several changes and modifications since then. Today the two-story building has a simple facade with four Doric columns and two narrow bell towers.

What looks like an anonymous church among a small cluster of houses, is actually the oldest Basilica in Gozo.
It is possible to cross it on the path that crosses the fields between the north coast and the sanctuary of Ta 'Pinu.
