The Hall of Memory is a war memorial built between 1922 and 1925 in memory of the 12,320 residents of Birmingham who died in World War I. The four statues on the outside symbolize the British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force and the Women's Services. It was designed by S. N. Cooke and W. N. Twist and opened on April 4, 1925 by Prince Arthur of Connaught.
