    The trail leads here, as so often in the Alb, through Jurakalkfelsen. These were released over millions of years by erosion and are a special feature of the Swabian Alb. One wanders over the former seabed, so to speak, because once upon a time there was the Jurassic, which covered large parts of Europe about 200 to 150 million years ago.
