A beautiful Gothic parish church in which there are often very good concerts. Just below is the horse tram promenade with good views of Linz. Especially when there are fireworks in Linz (Urfahraner fair and New Year's Eve) you have a great view and many people come to celebrate with their champagne bottles.
With the horse-drawn railway the salt was transported from the Salzkammergut from Linz to Budweis. Unfortunately, the route was not suitable for steam locomotives, which replaced it soon after the opening of the horse tram.

In Lent in March 2020, a very interesting fasting cloth hangs in front of the altar. It looks like a photographic alienation of one of the windows, or the shadow created by the window.
In front of the altar there is a low brick wall with lots of candles and cards with all the vices and virtues you can imagine. A quiet place of reflection that is open even if no services can currently be celebrated because of COVID19.
