The famous representation of the ideal proportions of the human body, demonstrates how it can be harmoniously inscribed in the two “perfect” figures of the circle and the square. Leonardo’s drawing was inspired by a passage by the architect Vitruvius (1st century BC).
The iron sculpture, inspired by the drawing of the Vitruvian Man by Leonardo da Vinci, was installed on May 2, 2016 in the roundabout at the intersection of the SP11 and SP30 in Sogliano al Rubicone, Vignola – Curto district.
