This 2-hectare arboretum, divided into 86 plots, was set up in 1899 with the main aim of testing the adaptability of exotic species (trees and shrubs) to our climate and to the Ardennes soil. Among the most remarkable species that you can admire during your walk are the Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii), the Vancouver pine (Abies grandis), the Noble pine (Abies procera), the Californian tsuga (Tsuga heterophylla) and the Japanese larch (Larix kaempferi) whose leaves turn orange-yellow in autumn.
