The Erzbahntrasse is a great bike path on the old railway line. It leads from the Jahrhunderthalle in Bochum West Park to Gelsenkirchen and is 9 km long.

The Erzbahnstrasse is certainly from the ground for roller skates and the like agreed. Nevertheless, I advise against it. The route is heavily frequented by cyclists and a roller skater comes quickly by his space-charged movement in conflict with the wheels. Here, the Kemmander Lake in Bochum with separate tracks is urgently advisable.
