The Jägersteig and Hubertussteig trails are among the most beautiful and longest singletracks in the Augsburg-Western Woods Nature Park. The first signpost for the start of the loop is located at a wooden bridge near Welden; a large parking lot is situated just beyond the bridge.

However, a sign indicates that the Jägersteig is closed to cyclists. Numerous tire tracks, however, reveal that this loop is also very popular with mountain bikers… ;-)

The two trails merge into one another, creating a beautiful, approximately 8 km long loop that is not too technically challenging but offers a great deal of flow through stunning scenery. The trail begins with a root section and features some very narrow paths along the edge of the slope.
