To editFirst mentioned by name in 1320 the place was called "Tanbach". The place name derives from an identical name of the waters, whose destination word is the tree genus Tanne. Only since 1732, the form Dombach is witnessed in the hole, with hole is called the hidden valley of the place.In the Salbuch of the Principality of Ansbach from 1684 5 teams are registered for Dombach: All properties were subordinate to the abbey office Ansbach. The high court practiced the brandenburg-ansbachische Hofkastenamt Ansbach, the village and municipality rule was the abbey office Ansbach held.Towards the end of the 18th century, there were 5 households in Loch Dombach. The high court exercised the yard box office Ansbach. The village and community rule held the abbey office Ansbach. All properties had the abbey office Ansbach as landlord. In addition to the households, there were communal buildings (shepherd's house, Brechhaus).In 1799 there were five households in the village, all subordinate to the upper Ansbach.As part of the community edict Dombach was assigned in Loch the 1808 formed tax district Elpersdorf. It also belonged to the 1811 founded Ruralgemeinde Elpersdorf. In 1833 Bernhardswinden, Dombach, Kurzendorf and Meinhardswinden submitted an application to form a parish. This was rejected, however.
