To editFirst mentioned by name in 1320 the place was called "Tanbach". The place name derives from an identical name of the waters, whose destination word is the tree genus Tanne. Only since 1732, the form Dombach is witnessed in the hole, with hole is called the hidden valley of the place.In the Salbuch of the Principality of Ansbach from 1684 5 teams are registered for Dombach: All properties were subordinate to the abbey office Ansbach. The high court practiced the brandenburg-ansbachische Hofkastenamt Ansbach, the village and municipality rule was the abbey office Ansbach held.Towards the end of the 18th century, there were 5 households in Loch Dombach.
