Today, the entire slaughterhouse area is managed by a cooperation of various city development, cultural and economic development institutions of the city. Many of the 19th-century industrial and commercial buildings are listed and will continue to testify to the former use of the area. Newly built buildings should consciously stand out from the architecture of the old buildings.
