Since it was very warm in the last few weeks, the Oppigbach only had water in some places on my tour. Sturdy footwear is the order of the day in damp weather or rain, as the path through the ridge is narrow and in some places steeper passages lead upwards.

Sturdy footwear is an advantage here after rain. The path leads through a narrow valley along a small stream with several crossings. After hot days there may not be much left of the stream, then normal sports shoes are sufficient.
