Among its other beautiful features, Saint-Fontaine also boasts a magnificent chapel that originally belonged to the castle. This Romanesque chapel was built in the 12th century. Many original features can still be found there, such as the old baptismal font, altar, and tabernacle. It was also the burial place of the castle owners. Numerous tombstones were built into the chapel, both inside and outside.

Over time, the Romanesque section was expanded, but the entire structure still exudes its old charm. It has recently been beautifully restored. The interior is once again magnificent and is used only occasionally for tours, concerts, and other smaller events.
