Hiking
Friedrich Ludwig Jahn, also called "Turnvater Jahn" (1778 - 1852), was the initiator of the German gymnastics movement.
Since the early 1950s also on the Scharzfelder Steinberg annual competitions of the athletics children's gymnastics held. With the proclamation of Steinberg as a nature reserve in 1988 ended these traditional events.
Here - above the "Jahn cliffs" - a memorial was erected in his honor.
