Mariagrube station is a historic railway station in the Alsdorf district of Mariadorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It was originally built by the Aachen Industrial Railway and later integrated into the Deutsche Bundesbahn network. The power station played a significant role in the transport of coal from the nearby Emil Mayrisch mine.
The station was a tower station and was an important stop on the Aachen North-Jülich railway line until it was closed in 19801. Today the station building still stands and is a reminder of the district's industrial past.

Road cycling

Mariagrube station was once the most important station on the Aachen-Jülich line, which was crossed here by the Herzogenrath-Alsdorf-Stolberg ring line. The former station building has now been spruced up and is used by a planning office. From the road bridge you can see not only the remains of the tracks but also a dilapidated signal box.
