The Puerta de los Tableros, also known as the Puerta de las Compuertas, is a historic structure located on the Carrera del Darro, between the church of San Pedro y San Pablo and the church of Santa Ana, just opposite the Bañuelo. This gate was built in the 11th century under the rule of the Zirid Badis.
