The ladder is a beautiful trail with a large suspension bridge where you can go to Brunnsteinhütte but also to Mittenwalderhütte. The climb is not dangerous, but you should already be a bit sure-footed.

The suspension bridge is one of two possible routes over a small torrent. The bridge offers a beautiful view of the Karwendel and the surrounding mountains. The structure sways noticeably in the middle, but is very reliable and safe.
