The Swan Bastion is a gothic bastion in Gdansk. It was built on the foundations of the broken fisherman's bastion. The bastion was damaged in 1454 and then rebuilt and raised by one floor.

Best coming from the back; Promenade often too crowded with crowds.

The castle of the Dominican Order originally stood on the edge of the fish market. After the Prussian Confederation surrendered to the protection of the Polish king in 1454, the Order Castle was conquered and razed by people from Danzig.
To protect the square, the brick swan tower was built, which still stands there today along with the remains of the medieval city fortifications.
