This massive steel railway structure is located on the railway line no. 286 Wałbrzych Główny - Kłodzko Główne, in the industrial district of Wałbrzych - Podgórze. The line "disappears" a few kilometers further in the longest railway tunnel in Poland under Mały Wołowiec. The steel viaduct was built in the second half of the 19th century, and to be precise in 1880. It is a three-span structure with a length of 120 meters, each span is 40 meters long. The height of the viaduct is 20 meters, so from the top you can count on interesting views of Podgórze. The viaduct was built as a double-track structure, but currently there is only one track. This line is currently closed due to the renovation of the track at the tunnel, but when it is operational it can be a great tourist attraction. It runs through several tunnels and viaducts and the beautiful landscape of the Sudetes. It is also worth mentioning that the viaduct was shown in Andrzej Jakimowski's film "Sztuczki".
