The lake area is very attractive, well maintained and with many beautiful corners and niches that invite you to linger. Benches are available to find walkways, bridges and gravelled shorelines around the waters. The rear part is natural, currently there's wild garlic in abundance.

We encountered fishermen. In summer, the lake is used as bathing water (toilet and shower facility available), the grounds are fenced. At the other seasons you can expand your hike as you like, there are enough possibilities. The lake is located on the Pielachtal cycle path.
