If you hike up the Ravenna Gorge, you can walk back from Hinterzarten via the small, romantic Löffeltal. You pass small waterfalls and two restored sawmills (cultural monuments).

A pleasant hiking trail runs through the Löffelbach valley between Hinterzarten and Ravennabrücke. There are many things worth seeing (old sawmills, fish ladders, waterfalls) that make the trail interesting for children too.
