The constant flood danger at the old location led the parish to build the church in 1829 high above the village in the neo-Romanesque style. Gravestones, the baptismal font and the organ were transferred from the late Gothic predecessor church. For the 600-year celebration of the place in 1999, the citizens have restored this Naundorfer church again (Wikipedia).

The interior of the church is richly painted. The parapets of the gallery are decorated with images of the Passion of Jesus. The ceiling of the nave is divided into five by four fields, each with an angel figure. This continues in the chancel, which, however, is separated from the nave by its height and a round arch.
