The disused paper factory is in the middle of being converted into a new district of Bergisch Gladbach. Since 2018, twelve different monuments on the site have been protected: from the historic administration and gatehouse building to a steam storage locomotive, the bust garden and industrial halls, some of which still have original technical equipment for paper production.
