The access is at the limit of what is possible with an MTB. The exit is definitely worth it, because the view of the Iron Gate is simply breathtaking. The access roads are quite steep, stony footpaths, but marked for tourists (red-white-red).

Hiking

Great and engaging hike, worth the trip if you are visiting Golubac. But beware when you finish the first climb (from the recommend route) there is a house with three guard dogs, and they do their job really good, loud noises keep them at bay.
