The Alvor Boardwalk is a long wooden promenade that runs through the dunes and the Ria de Alvor nature reserve. It offers views of the coastal landscape and the lagoon. There is also direct access to the beaches of Alvor. The official hiking trail PR2 "Ao Sabor da Maré" (marked yellow and red) starts here. It is about 4.8 km long.
