After a stimulating climb over a wooded ridge, you reach the Passwang, which is known for its fantastic view far into the Jura and the Alps. Up here, you just have to linger and enjoy. But the descent to the Vogelberghaus also offers wonderful views as far as Basel and across to the Black Forest with Belchen and Feldberg. In autumn in particular, you get an impressive Indian summer feeling here with the colorful deciduous forests and the light limestone cliffs in between. In addition to good food, the Vogelberghaus scores with its unique viewing terrace.
