The campground is located at the West Fork of the Black River. It is a big area with flat spots nestled between pine trees. There pit toilets and a trail leads along the river to the north. It seems like the campground was larger back in the day as you can find remains of pit toilets and picnic benches on the other side of the river. It river has lots of crayfish.
