Following the floods and storms of September 2024, the footbridge spanning the Gave was washed away and is no longer available to cross.
There is therefore a ford to be made, but beware of the strong current - very tricky and dangerous! It is better to return towards Gavarnie to take a footbridge that is still in good condition.
