One of the special buildings of Boizenburg is the baroque Wall Pavilion, a small hexagonal structure crowned by a morning star, which stands directly above the waters of the moat and is also connected to the wall by a bridge. It can be admired from the outside all year round and serves as a branch office for the registry office. The registrar will be happy to provide information on wedding dates, formalities and the design of the ceremony. Boizenburger Wall Pavilion in the baroque style, with the base of an equilateral hexagon, on the roof of the pavilion there is an imposing morning star. The Boizenburger Wall Pavilion was restored on the occasion of the 725th anniversary in 1980.

A nice way around the old town of Boizenburg. It is interesting that every house has its bridge over the stream.

The so-called wall pavilion, which was restored on the occasion of the 725th anniversary in 1980, is particularly attractive. The pavilion is a small hexagonal baroque building with a polygonal base, crowned by an imposing bronze morning star. It stands directly on the inner moat of the Long Wall and until a few years ago it was accessible via a bridge that no longer exists. But it can be admired from the outside at any time. Also noteworthy are the old linden trees that were planted at the end of the 18th century.wikiwand.com/de/Boizenburg/Elbe
