Hiking
Supposedly founded in 960 by Count Palatine Hermann I. However, the castle was first mentioned in 1294.
The castle was inhabited until 1830, after which it became a ruin over the years.
In the 1920s, the ruins were bought by a private individual who built two houses there. A pottery was operated there until 2000.
