Running
These are the remains of the southwest rampart of the Citadel, which dates from the mid-19th century. On this section, the ditches have been filled in and the walls largely destroyed, unfortunately.
There is much more to see on the eastern, southeast and northwest parts of the Citadel, where the ditches and walls, and even casemates, are still standing (although there is a lot of vegetation on and around them).
